With over 24 years of specialized experience in concrete materials and transportation infrastructure, I’ve served as a trusted technical advisor at the highest levels of public works and construction.
From 2001 to 2025, I held progressive roles at the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), including:
- Assistant State Materials Engineer – Laboratory Operations (2019–2025)
Oversaw six construction materials labs, provided expert support to engineers and contractors, and ensured technical compliance across the state. - Concrete Field Engineer – Materials Division (2006–2015)
Served as MDOT’s primary concrete specialist, authored key specifications, and created the state’s first online mix submittal system — cutting review time by 66%.
In 2025, I founded Browne Enterprises, LLC to offer independent consulting services focused on:
- Concrete mixture design & specification compliance
- Durability evaluation (ASR, sulfate resistance, cracking)
- Forensic analysis of construction records and material performance
- Quality assurance and construction oversight
- Technical training and stakeholder communication
