Browne Enterprises, LLC provides subject-matter insight and factual analysis strictly based on experience, training, and knowledge. Services are not licensed professional engineering, architectural, or legal, or medical services. They are offered solely in support of dispute resolution, claims review, or expert witness roles. No design, prescriptive advice, or regulatory compliance determination is provided.

Retainer
A non-refundable retainer equivalent to four (4) hours of the requested service rate is required prior to the commencement of any engagement. This retainer will be applied toward the total cost of services. Work performed beyond the initial four hours will be billed at the applicable hourly rate for the specific service rendered.
Expenses
– Travel: For any travel required as part of the engagement, the hourly rate for the associated service will apply during travel time, in addition to actual travel-related expenses (e.g., airfare, lodging, mileage at the IRS mileage rate, meal per diem, ground transportation).
– Printing & Exhibits: Actual cost + 10% handling.
– Courier or Shipping: Billed at cost.
– Per Diem for meals (if overnight travel required): $65/day unless otherwise agreed.
Liability Limitation Notice
Services are not licensed professional services under any regulatory board. No opinions or statements are to be construed as engineering guidance, legal advice, or other regulated professional recommendations. Liability is contractually limited to the total fees paid.
Payment Terms
Invoices are due Net 15 days. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly charge.
Cancellations within 48 hours of testimony or appearance may be billed at 50% of the scheduled fee.
In the event payment is not received within 45 days of the invoice date, Browne Enterprises, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate services without further notice. The client shall remain liable for all services rendered up to the date of suspension or termination, including any documented losses, reasonable overhead, and administrative costs directly related to the terminated work.
In addition, the client agrees to be responsible for all costs incurred in the collection of unpaid fees, including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, interest, and late fees as allowed by law.
